The American Gothic DVD Petition

What do you want?

We want the American Gothic DVDs, and we want them now - but since we realize that unfortunately this isn't possible, we urge Universal to put them on their release schedule for 2002, and keep them there! We also ask Universal to include the following features:

  • Anamorphic wide screen format (you can find an explanation at http://www.dvdangle.com/dvd_tech/explanation/ar_comparison.html)

  • Deleted scenes (Especially the scene with Dr. Matt Crower and Selena Coombs strolling along the river which was cut from the episode Ring of Fire!)

  • If there is material, a Behind the Scenes featurette.

  • A commentary by Sam Raimi would be highly appreciated, and while we don't know your exact plans, we'd like to suggest that a different person comment on each episode - maybe in addition to Mr. Raimi? If you could get all members of the main cast and Mr. Cassidy to do a commentary, that would be fantastic!

  • High quality sleeve art. If American Gothic will be released on several DVDs, make it a matched set.

  • And last but not least: Please start working on them as soon as possible
